POLY TEAMS WIN BALTIMORE CITY CHAMPIONSHIPSĬongratulations to Poly's Girl's Basketball team, Boy's Swim Team, Boy's Indoor track team and Wrestling team as they all won the Baltimore City Championship in their sports. Congratulations to all of our athletes who participated in the 2022-2023 badminton tournament.ĬLICK ON THE HEADLINE TO SEE ALL THE PICTURES Our doubles 1 team of Naomi Clark and Cosima Bilotte Bermudez took home the gold medal and our doubles 3 team of Nimah Amie and Sylviamarie Njoroke took home the silver medal. In singles 2 Poojah Sunar took first place. In varsity badminton we also had another great year. We had a surprise team of Deborah Hahn and Arlina Lamichhana place third in doubles 2 acting as an alternate to a team that did not show up for the championships. Our doubles 2 team of Brasil Smothers and Sabrina Shi also took first place. Staying with junior varsity, our doubles 1 team of Jazmine Green and Nadiat Adedoyin took first place. Sydney Cofield took third place in singles three (3). Gwen Andol took second place in singles two (2). Starting with our junior varsity Elizabeth Sterling took first place in singles one.
